No other choice than to tango with my image or over it #15

While the bloggy blog of Doc 40 shades a disillusioned tear over the 'corporate slavery', it might also be worthy glancing at the developing countries (i.a. Belarus, Botswana, Ethiopia, Jersey, Kazakhstan and Sri Lanka) and their use of Brussels-based Public Affairs firm for polishing their image.
When Marcel Duchamps said in the 30's that art in XXIst century would not be about creation anymore but about mere designation ('this is art'), that was because he had a premonition about the importance of the image reduced to a mere object well before the conceptualization of the Society of Spectacle: 'representation prevails over the represented' is the common rule and those countries in need of Western investments know this more than well ('this is a fine country'). We are all a potential trademark that still ignores itself.
