Please, stay mute & wave me #112

While men never end to fall from their masculinity in Western movies (see The Misfits, Alien, El secreto de sus ojos...), some young women are not afraid of auto-irony: Claire Bourdillon is one of them and she seems to be well-rooted in her century.

Chanel's chest for the street has been lifted from Arab Parrot when in city of The Angels. 'Are you happy' map is not anonymous but from an unknown source to me. The knocked eye was shooted by Yves Trémorin.

At last the truth, thanks to Aaron Dunn.

Please, Sin as if you were a true Mormon # 111

Probably fake but here is a rare occasion to share entertainment with a Mormon. The ante-photoshop option is still valid.

Epiphany is Hard Scotish Labour too #58

"What's left after the Fall" is the recurrent question addressed by philosophy. Hereafter is some proposals delivered by XXIst century's art on the basis of European legacy:
Talented, prolific & Scotish (female reincarnation of Georges Bataille?) Jessica Harrison .

Announcement to the people inhabiting the "South of Nowhere" and to those who are lost in Septentrion:

Groningen welcomes a new exhibition of Collage's realities of Eduard Bezembinder where "Admirer's Freedom" can take place for free.

Epiphany is hard Labour too #57

Shooter: Ellen Jantzen (whose web-site maybe displays the worst self-portrait of a photographer that I have ever seen). To be a writer according to a Primo Levi's metaphor is to become invisible during your life-time of work. Another available status is as follows:
"“I became a writer in the same way that I became a prostitute. First I did it to please myself, then I did it to please my friends and finally I did it for money. It’s much harder to be a writer than a hooker because men are pickier about what they read than what they fuck, since they’d sooner fuck trash than read it.”(Sebastien Horsley)

Worst EU Lobbying Awards 2010 : competition is launched !

In the EU mechanisms, consulting economic forces & being communicated positions or claims from lobbyists is an institutional routine, for NGOS as for industries (Democracy may take many forms and shapes).
Nevertheless, some of those representatives or spokesmen deserve from time to time a distinction for being such a "slap-me-face" lobbyists when they meet the Legislator for promoting their interests.
Friends of the Earth Europe and LobbyControl have decided to highlight those 'slap-me-faces': nominees are (here comes the democratic shame):

Worst climate lobbying:
* BusinessEurope
* ArcelorMittal
* RWE

Worst financial lobbying:
* Royal Bank of Scotland
* Goldman Sachs and derivatives lobby group ISDA
* Hedge fund and private-equity lobby group AIMA and EVCA

You can even vote with full knowledge to grant the Worst EU Lobbying Award to one of them.

Week-end's rainfall of images that are a continuation of life by other means #24

(As usual: anonymous leashless images extracted from the globalised unconscious & happily framed by Brusqu'elles before being recirculated again. Pax tecum, B.).
